Samsung first unveiled the Galaxy Tab S5e back in April 2020. This 10.5″ tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chip and spots 4/6GB of RAM and a massive 7040mAh battery.

The tablet is available in two variants, a Wi-Fi-only model and an LTE version. Both models came with Android 9 Pie out of the box with Samsung’s One UI on top.

The device has been pretty well-updated through its life and Samsung is in the process of rolling out Android 10 to it. Already, we have seen the European and Asian versions of the same get updated to Android 10-based One UI 2.

The same has also been reported in China, India, Serbia, and the Netherlands, and today, Samsung is rolling out Android 10-based One UI 2 to the Wi-FI Only Galaxy Tab S5e in the US and Canada.

The update which has already been listed on Samsung’s unofficial software tracker, Samfrew indicates that indeed, these builds are based on Android 10 and as such, bring Samsung’s One UI 2 to these devices.

The updates can be identified by their software version numbers XAR-T720XXU1BTG3 and XAC-T720XXU1BTG3 for the US and Canada versions respectively.

The update weighs in at a little over 2GB and comes with the June security patch.

As always, this is an OTA update and as such, should hit eligible devices in the coming days and weeks as Samsung rolls it out in batches. You should, therefore, check for updates on your device regularly.

Update 2 (September 14)

IST 11:36 am: It appears that Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 2.1 update for the unlocked variants of the Galaxy Tab S5e LTE model in the U.S. The update is available over the air with build number BTH1 with a download size of 1996.16 MB.

Update 20 (September 19)

IST 12:10 pm: Reports suggest that the Android 10 update (version T727AUCU1BTH2) hitting the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e units on the AT&T network also brings along the One UI 2.5.

Update 21 (September 21)

IST 06:50 pm: It seems that the One UI 2.5 update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is now hitting devices in Serbia. A user has also confirmed to have received the One UI 2.5 update on Reddit.

Update 22 (September 25)

IST 12:07 pm: According to user reports, it appears that Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy Tab S5e in the UK and Singapore and it bears the build number CTI1. The August security patch also tags along.

IST 04:15 pm: Apparently, the One UI 2.5 update is also rolling out for Galaxy Tab S5e users in Korea. It comes with the build number CTI1 and also brings the September security patch to the device.

Update 23 (September 30)

IST 12:01 pm: According to a tip from one of our readers, Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy Tab S5e LTE model in India. We’ve added the screenshot shared with us below:
