Lately, Realme has been releasing official rollback packages to Android Pie for it its devices. The Realme 5 Pro and Realme 5, Realme 3 and 3i, Realme X and X2, Realme X2 Pro, are some of the devices that got the rollback package recently.

These rollback packages enable users to downgrade to Android Pie from Android 10. With the release of Android 10 for its devices, Realme also introduced its custom skin dubbed Realme UI. It is still based on ColorOS but has many tweaks.

For starters, Realme UI resembles Stock Android a lot more than ColorOS. Therefore, if you prefer the iOS-like appearance that ColorOS offers, it could be one reason to rollback to Android Pie.

Along with the rollback packages, Realme also shared the tutorial for users to follow. We’ll be sharing the steps for you to follow here as well. So without further ado, let’s get started by first downloading the appropriate rollback package for your device from below:

Then, open the File Manager application and navigate to the downloaded OZIP package. Tap on it and then select ‘Upgrade Now‘. You’re device will automatically begin the rollback process.

It will take a few minutes for the entire process to finish and your phone will then reboot into a freshly installed Android Pie build. Now, all that’s left to do is to set it up the same way you did when you first powered on the device.

Once you rollback to Android Pie from Android 10 on the Realme 5i or Realme 5s, you will not receive the Android 10 update over the air. Fortunately, the company released the Android 10 update package to manually update either of the two devices.
