New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on August 04, 2020) follows:

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is also know as the Redmi 10X 4G in China, which FYI, received the MIUI 12 update in June. But for some reason, Xiaomi had pulled the update and re-released it a month later. Not much later, the Global variant of the Redmi Note 9 also picked up the stable MIUI 12 package.

Unfortunately, many users in Pakistan were not able to download the update since it had appeared that the ISPs in the country had blocked Xiaomi’s servers. Thankfully, a couple of days later, users began reporting that the issue had been fixed.

That being said, while Redmi Note 9/Redmi 10X 4G users of the Global and Chinese variants were receiving the update, users with the European variants were left waiting. Although, since the Global variants got the update, we expected to see it arrive on the European units soon.
