The Poco F2 Pro is the current flagship smartphone from Poco. It released a few months ago and comes with some of the best specifications that Android phones have to offer in 2020. Further, it’s also got that aggressive pricing going for it.

Poco launched the device with Android 10 running alongside MIUI 11. Thus, it was but obvious that it will be getting the MIUI 12 update when it was first announced in China. Since then, multiple Xiaomi smartphones have received the update.

Moreover, even the Redmi K30 Pro which is the Poco F2 Pro’s Chinese variant has bagged the stable MIUI 12 update. Thus, it was only a matter of time that the Poco F2 Pro began receiving MIUI 12 too.

While the update is available through an OTA package, it might take a while before your device gets it. Typically, this happens with most updates on Android smartphones. So do not fret in case it does not show up right away on your Poco F2 Pro.

With this release, the company is moving a bit closer to wrapping up the rollout of MIUI 12 for all eligible devices. Although, there are still a few phones yet to get the latest skin. Thus, you can take a look at our MIUI 12 update tracker to know when it arrives on your device.

Further, Xiaomi has begun testing MIUI 12.1 in China. More on that here. But that’s not all, the company has also released the Android 11 beta update for the flagship Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. Nonetheless, we will continue tracking the rollout. So stay tuned for more updates regarding the same.
