It is widely known that Xiaomi is rolling out the stable MIUI 12 update to various smartphones across the globe. The update first arrived in China and so far a number of Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9T, Mi 9T Pro, Redmi K20, and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones have picked it up globally.

The update is also available for the Redmi Note 8 Pro outside China, albeit for a limited group of Mi Pilot testers. The software will soon be made available for the Poco F2 Pro and a host of other Mi, Redmi, and Poco devices.

We understand the excitement in the Xiaomi community regarding the release of the MIUI 12 update. The Mi forum is awash with queries of when various devices will begin receiving the update and its understandable given the bucketload of features the firmware brings.

Talk of Super Wallpapers, System animations, Animated icons in the updated Control center, Floating windows and a bunch of new camera features, enhanced dark mode support and Lite mode, just to name but a few.

And here we are with a poll to know which among the MIUI 12 features below you are enjoying the most. If the update hasn’t hit your device yet, feel free to chime in with the feature that makes you most excited about its release.

Update (July 21)

As promised, we have the final poll results and as expected, the Super Wallpapers feature is the fan-favorite, with 41.3% in favor of the feature. As for the rest, 30.4% are moved by the new system animations while 15.2% and 13% prefer floating windows and full-screen gestures, respectively.
