[Updated] OPPO F9/Pro, A5/A9 2020, & F7 Android 10 (ColorOS 7) stable update for India arrives in June, F15/Pro in July

This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..

Original story (published on May 28) follows:

OPPO started rolling out ColorOS 7 stable update based on Android 10 in April 2020. The first devices to pick up the OS were the Reno, Reno Ace, and Reno 10X Zoom, among others.

To date, the Chinese vendor still has several devices testing the beta version of the software, among them the OPPO F9, OPPO F9 Pro, OPPO A5 2020, OPPO A9 2020, OPPO F7, OPPO F15, and OPPO F15 Pro.

While no one knew when to expect the stable Android 10 update on these devices prior to today, these details are now in the public domain, at least for those using the devices mentioned above from India.

The roadmap below shows when these devices will receive the ColorOS 7 stable update beginning June 2020.

ColorOS 7 stable update roadmap for India

On June 10, Android 10 will begin rolling out to the OPPO F9 and F9 Pro as version F.09. Five days later, owners of the A5 2020 and A9 2020 will join the party followed by the F7 ColorOS 7 update on June 24 going forward.

Later on, in July, the OS will be made available to the OPPO F15 and F15 Pro in all of its stable glory. Unfortunately for these two, there is no known release date.

As noted earlier, the ColorOS 7 beta update is already available for the OPPO F7, A5 2020 and A9 2020, and OPPO F9/F9 Pro, so it’s no surprise that the stable version is being lined up for next month.

We will keep an eye on the developments and let you know when the stable version begins rolling out to your specific handset. Stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.

Thanks for sharing the info, GoAndroid!
