[Updated] Vivo S1 Pro Android 10 allegedly coming next week, Vivo Z1 Pro, Z1x, S1, V15/Pro & Y series in June/July
This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..
Original story (published on May 15) follows:
In about 3.5 months Android 10 will be a year old. Google released the stable version on September 3, 2019, but to date, a huge chunk of Vivo phones are still on Android Pie.
According to information allegedly coming from Vivo’s R&D team, next week will welcome the Vivo S1 Pro Android 10 update. There is no way to verify this information at the moment, so you better stay skeptical.
Apparently, the first week of June will then welcome Funtouch OS 10 on the standard Vivo S1 and Vivo Z1x and later the Z1 Pro will get the same treat.
Later in early July, Android 10 will be made available for the Vivo V15, Vivo V15 Pro and before the month ends, devices in the Y series will be upgraded to Funtouch OS 10 as well.
The Vivo V11 and V11 Pro will get updated in August while other eligible Vivo handsets are expected to join the party by the end of October 2020. You know, just in time for the Vivo Android 11 update.
Once again, there’s no way to prove that this information is true or false, but given that the Funtouch OS 10 roadmap provided back in March also places the Vivo S1 and S1 Pro Android 10 update around June, there is a reason to be a little optimistic here.
