New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on March 14, 2020) follows:

Samsung seems to be on a spree to roll out the One UI 2.0 update for its users. In the past 10 days or so, the Korean OEM has updated quite a bunch of Galaxy A-series phones with the Android 10 update.

To recall, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A70s, Galaxy A80, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A7 (2018) and Galaxy A8s have been served with the One UI 2.0 (Android 10) update.

And it seems like another Samsung Galaxy A-series phone, i.e. the Galaxy A50 might get the update soon, as according to a recent development, a new OS test build has popped up for the device. Not to forget it’s kin, the Galaxy A50s has already bagged the One UI 2.0 update.

Going by the user report, one user shared a screenshot of the CheckFirm app, that shows a new test firmware with build BTC2. Interestingly, in the what’s new section of the update, it shows OS Update. Whereas, as per the user, previously it was showing bug fixes.

Although nothing is visible by taking a look at the build number. One can only speculate that it is the One UI 2.0 for the Samsung Galaxy A50.

Besides, considering the fact that the device was launched in 2019 and came with Android 9 Pie (One UI) out of the box, it should be the Android 10 (One UI 2.0) update.

In fact, the official Android 10 update roadmap shared by Samsung also depicts that the device is scheduled to get One UI 2.0 in April 2020.
