Honor 20i EMUI 10 (Android 10) update goes live in stable channel, bundles December security patch
And now, in a recent development, Huawei has finally pushed in the stable EMUI 10 (Android 10) update for the Honor 20i smartphone. The update also brings in December 2019 security patch.
To recall, the Honor 20i was introduced back in April 2019 and packs in features like Kirin 710, 4/6 GB of RAM, a 3,400 mAh battery under the hood, a 6.21-inch display.
The device offers up to 256 GB of onboard storage, a triple camera 24 MP+8 MP+ 2MP setup at the back and a 32 MP selfie shooter. It also sports a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Now, coming back to the update, it arrives with the version number V10.0.0.158 and weighs in around 650 MB. Below is the official changelog along with the screenshot of the update prompt:

– Integrates Android security patches released in December 2019 for improved system security.
Notably, the update is being pushed for select users via OTA in batches and is expected to be available for all the users pretty soon.
However, users can manually check for the update notification on their Honor 20i by going to Settings>>System & updates>>Software update>>CHECK FOR UPDATES>>Download and install.
