Since the arrival of Android 10, all the OEMs are trying their best in pushing out the latest Android OS for their compatible devices. Moreover, many smartphone brands also shared their Android 10 update plans that depict when the devices will be served with the 10th iteration of Android OS.

And one of the major smartphone brands in the world, Samsung was also not far behind. Though they did not come up with any official timeline for Android 10, Samsung is working in full-swing to push out the latest update for its devices.

We all know that Samsung’s latest One UI 2.0 will be based on Android 10 and the company has pushed in the beta update for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 in some regions.

Moreover, the 2017 models i.e. the Note 8 and Galaxy S8 will probably miss out on the Android 10 update. However, if you are the user of Galaxy Note 9 then, this piece of news will excite you as the company has started the One UI 2.0 beta initiative based on Android 10 for the device.

Reportedly, this update is currently only available in Korea, though it is expected to arrive at the global audience pretty soon. Users can head to the Samsung Members app and sign up for this beta from the announcement “Join the One UI Beta Program”.

This is line with the official confirmation we reported two days back that the Samsung Galaxy S9 & Note 9 Android 10 update would arrive soon as One UI 2.0 beta.

Keep in mind, as this is the beta version of the One UI 2.0 based on Android 10, it will have some bugs which might lead to data loss. So, it is advised to have a full backup of your data before upgrading your Note 9 with this beta update.

Notably, the beta users will have to report the glitches and bugs they come across while using the One UI 2.0 beta on their devices. However, at any time if you wish to pull yourself out of this beta program, you can restore to the previous OS via the Smart Switch app.

The One UI 2.0 beta update is already available for the Galaxy Note 9 users in Korea. Talking about the update, it carries version number ZSK6 and weighs in about 1.8 GB in size.

And there we go! The beta is now available in the UK. Community members have already captured the OTA package so that any Note 9 (Exynos) user can get the first taste of Android 10-powered One UI 2.0. Details here.
