MIUI 11 has started rolling for compatible Xiaomi devices. Moreover, the company has also shared the MIUI 11 rollout timetable for global and Indian units that depicts when and which device will get long-anticipated update.

Matter of fact, based on the roadmap, some of the devices have already received the stable MIUI 11 update. The 11th iteration of Xiaomi’s in-house skin brings in design changes to UI, new AOD (Always On Display), Mi Share, Digital Wellbeing, Mi Work, ultra power saving mode and many more goodies.

Moreover, looking at the changes and enhancements MIUI 11 brings in for Xiaomi devices, it seems pretty straight, why Xiaomi users are waiting for this update.

Notably, the Mi 6 and Mi MIX 2 have also received the MIUI 11 based update, albeit in China. And in a recent development, the update has started hitting the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India and Mi 9 Lite (Mi CC9) units.

Let us take a look at the update one by one.

Redmi Note 7 Pro

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is now receiving MIUI 11 update here in India. Notably, the phone has already received an update in China. And in India, the last update that it received was the August security patch that brought along minor fixes as well.

Now come update carries the version number V11.0.5.0.PFHINXM and weighs in about 746 MB in size. Below is the official changelog and the screenshot of the update:

Mi 9 Lite (Mi CC9)

Mi 9 Lite (rebranded Mi CC9) was recently announced and is reportedly receiving the MIUI 11 update. The latest update carries version number V11.3.1.0.PFCCNXM for Mi CC9 (China) and V11.3.2.0.PFCEUXM for Mi 9 Lite (Europe).

The OTA package weighs in around 615 MB. Below is the official changelog of the latest update for the Mi 9 Lite or Mi CC9:

Game speed booster

– Optimization: Prompts about turning on Game Turbo

– Auto brightness, screenshot gestures, and Reading mode can be turned off automatically when Game Turbo is on

Notably, the update brings in a lot of new features and goodies for the Mi 9 Lite and Mi CC9 like Game speed booster, new lock screen and notification bar, optimized system performance and more.

Once you have downloaded the update from the above link, go to Settings>>About Phone>>System update>>press the MIUI version logo 10 times>> tap on the three-dot icon at the top right corner and select Choose update package. Locate the update package inside the ‘downloaded_rom’ folder of your internal storage and select the file to update manually.
