Xiaomi accidentally rolled out the MIUI 11 over a month ago for Mi 9 and some other devices. What could have been a game-changer for the brand in terms of pushing updates, came out to be an accident.

However, recently Xiaomi confirmed the official date for the global release of the MIUI 11. The roadmap covers Indian variants as well.

On the other hand, Xiaomi started to push the October update for their Android One devices such as Mi A3 as well as Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite. And in line with this, reportedly, Mi A1 has started receiving the October 2019 security patch.

Talking about the update, it has pushed via OTA and weighs in around 67 MB in size. It carries the version number V10.0.14.0.PDHMIXM. So, it won’t be heavy on your mobile data or WiFi for downloading.

Below is the official update log and the screenshot shared by one of the users:

Keep in mind that it is an incremental update and does not bring any other enhancements for the devices. It is being pushed via OTA in batches and will take some time in reaching the devices.

However, you can check for the updates by heading to Settings>>About phone>>System updates and install the latest October patch. But, if you want to manually sideload it on your Mi A1 then, you can download the update file from below:
