Realme’s latest edition Realme C2 devices are shipped with Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 Lite out of the box. However, it’s predecessor Realme C1 phones bears Android 8.1 Oreo and ColorOS 5.2 since its inception. C1 is basically a low-end phone that is powered by Snapdragon 450 chipset.

Realme C1 May security update (RMX1811EX_11_A.26)

While Realme Indonesia has announced the May update now, Realme C1 users in India have been receiving this update for past couple of weeks. Looks like the update hit the Realme C1 units in India in the first wave and now it is targeting the devices in Indonesia.

FWIW a quick look at the company’s official update support page conveys the availability of no such new update. It still display RMX1805EX_11.A.25 as the latest patch on Realme C1. And we are not sure when does the company plan to update the page with latest info.

Anyway, have you received the update yet? If so, feel free to share with us how it’s acting on your device. Rest assured, we are keeping a close watch on Android Pie’s arrival on Realme C1 and will let you know as and when the update gets live.
