      YouTube now forcing whole Rewind 2018 video as an ad

      With close to 7 million dislikes and counting, the Rewind 2018 video may well be on its way to become the most hated YouTube video of all time, but this isn’t stopping YouTube from pushing it as an ad.

      Yes, we are seeing a lot of reports from users who say the whole Rewind 2018 appeared as an ad while they were watching something else. Take a look at some of these reports, that include screenshots as well:

      What more, some users complained even the ‘Skip’ button was missing for them when the ad played:

      As far as audience reaction is considered, YouTube’s move to force Rewind 2018 as an ad is definitely bringing bad press to the company. Exactly why this is being done is anybody’s guess as of now.
