After Poco F1 Pie update, Xiaomi confirms Android Q update as well
Xiaomi has already confirmed the Poco F1 will get the Android Pie update, something which is due for this quarter (said to be happening in November). And now, a senior executive for Poco has confirmed that the device will get the Android Q update as well.
The executive in question is Jai Mani, who is head of product at Poco. The confirmation came in the form of reply to user on Twitter. Take a look:

So you can see, in addition to re-iterating the company’s commitment towards the Android 9.0 Pie update, the executive said they’ll will do the Android Q update as well. This is undoubtedly a very good for news for users of the Poco F1, which launched with Oreo on board.
MIUI 10 update imminent
Just in case you missed, the MIUI 10 update for the Poco F1 will begin rolling out this week.
In addition to fixes for major bugs and issues, the MIUI 10 update will also bring along several changes including AI portrait mode, full-screen gestures, new sounds and effects, and a major UI redesign.
