As you can see, devices such as the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, Redmi Note 7/7 Pro, Mi 9 SE and more will all bag the MIUI 12 update by the end of September. Following this, the company will begin pushing the update for the eligible devices from the third batch.

Xiaomi has already released the update for some devices from the second batch. Thus, it shouldn’t take much longer for the remaining to start receiving the MIUI 12 skin via an OTA package. The company didn’t divulge specific dates for the updates.

Of course, this also means that the MIUI 12 update will also be available for the devices sold in other regions as well. It usually takes a few weeks or a month for an update to be pushed to the Global variant of a device after it begins rolling out for Chinese units.

So we will have to wait and see for ourselves when the eligible devices begin receiving the update. On the subject of updates, Xiaomi is also scheduled to bring the stable MIUI 12-based Android 11 update in September.
