Android 10 has been officially out for about 10 months at this point and many of the devices that were eligible for an update have already bagged the update with only a few outliers remaining like Moto G7.

One such outlier has been the Motorola Moto G7. This device was slated to get updated to android 10 sometime in July, at least according to earlier reports.

Of course, Motorola delivered this update sooner than it was earlier anticipated and in late May, Motorola Moto G7 users started receiving an update to the much-awaited build of Android 10.

The update has since been spotted by users of the Moto G7 all over the globe, including in Europe, UK and Canada, Netherlands, Argentina, and most recently, Mexico.

Of course, this list is only set to grow further as more and more regions bag this highly anticipated update. Today, US Unlocked Moto G7 users have started reporting receiving the Android 10 update.

This update packs the dated April 2020 security patch level, even at a time when more and more devices are getting updated to the June 2020 security patch level. But I guess you can have it all now, can you?

This update obviously brings many of the Android 10 features to this device such as system-wide dark mode, gesture navigation, better notification management and the company confirms that users will not have to lose their data when performing this update.

Also worth noting is that users whose Moto G7 devices on other carriers that haven’t received the update are increasingly getting impatient over the issue and a quick scroll through the comment section paints a clear picture of the same.

Here’s to hoping that this Android 10 gets rolled out to all eligible Moto G7 devices by July as the company had previously estimated. If you have a Moto G7, you might want to check for updates on your device frequently.
