Why can’t I cast Twitch to my Chromecast? Already reinstalled Twitch, rebooted the Chromecast….still nothing. Other apps work fine. (Source)

This issue has been reported by users only when streaming through Chromecast and it seems to be limited to Twitch, as other streaming services remain unaffected.

Moreover, some believe that it is broken after the recent Twitch update. Unfortunately, we don’t know the exact reason behind the black screen problem.

Furthermore, Twitch and Chromecast haven’t released official statements on the matter yet, leaving users puzzled.

Also, there isn’t any workaround to this problem as of now. Users have tried some basic trouble-shooters such as restarting Chromecast, reinstalling Twitch, and resetting network settings, but no luck.

This means that you’ll have to wait until devs fix this issue. Rest assured, we will update this article as and when we come across any new information.
