But ever since it became available to users, they were quick to notice crashing issues when trying to upload images on their iOS devices.

Threads App users await Dark Mode

While Threads has been well-received for its simplicity, iOS & Android app users now eagerly anticipate or on the lookout for the dark mode feature (1,2,3,4,5,6).

I can’t even find where to turn on dark mode for threads. I think I might be blind or dumb, maybe both😭

Dark mode, a popular trend in the app development world, offers users a visually appealing and functional alternative to the traditional light mode.

But the unavailability of the feature has got iOS and Android users actively voicing their desire for Threads to introduce dark mode (1,2,3,4,5).

Here’s what you need to know

So, to switch between dark and light mode in the Threads web app, simply click on the Threads logo.

Furthermore, users who have night mode activated on their devices say that dark mode is active for them. This is obviously due to the theme selected for the phone.

The nighttime mode on my phone triggered dark mode on threads. What is that?

While this may sound absurd to some people out there, but it’s currently the only way you can enable dark mode on iOS or Android Threads app.

The developmental team hasn’t commented anything at the moment and users continue to complaint about the lack of dark mode feature.

While an acknowledgment remains unknown, users can find temporary solace in system-wide dark mode settings on their smartphones.

In addition to this, users are also reporting that they are getting logged out of their Instagram accounts after signing in to Threads. Moreover, some users demand posts of people they follow to be arranged in chronological order.

Having said that, we’ll monitor the situation and update you if and when anything comes up.
