Samsung is a company that is not known for the speedy delivery of updates to its devices. However, this seems to have changed since the company released its latest flagship at the beginning of the year, the Galaxy S10 and the S10+.

After that, the company pulled up its sleeves and rolled out monthly security updates on time not only to the new birds in the nest, but to their older smartphones as well.

As of this morning, Galaxy S10 + variants on Verizon network are also getting the September OTA

In a recent development, T-Mobile has rolled out the September security update starts hitting the Samsung Galaxy S10/S10+ smartphones. T-Mobile is also not very famous for releasing the software update for its smartphones but, it seems to be catching up with this new update.

This new T-Mobile incremental security update carries the build number G975UOYN2BSI4 for the Galaxy S10 and G975USQS2BSI4 for the Galaxy S10+. You can check out the following screenshots confirming the latest update for the T-Mobile variants of Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+:

However, apart from the September security patch, this new update does not bring any major change on board for either of the devices. The update weighs around 200MB for the Galaxy S10 but, there is no information regarding the size of the update on the S10+. Below is the official update log for the updates received on both the S10/S10+ T-Mobile variants.

What’s New

  • The security of your device has been improved.

This was also later on confirmed by one of the users of the Galaxy S10+ on Reddit;

Note that the updates are rolled out via OTA and in batches so, it will take some time to reach to your device. Besides, if you have not received the notification for the update then, you can head to Settings>>Software Update and manually check for the updates.

As highlighted earlier, the Android 10 update for the T-Mobile variants of Galaxy S10/S10+ devices is already being tested. Along with the Android 10, Samsung is also reportedly testing out the One UI 2.0 which will be based on the latest Android 10 OS.

The Galaxy S11/S11+ will be reportedly running the Android 10 with One UI 2.0 out of the box and as far as the other devices are concerned, the Android 10 updates will start rolling out either by the end of this year or starting early 2020.

Let us know in the comments below if you also received the update on the T-Mobile S10/S10+ smartphones and also tell us what new this update brings along.
