Samsung is although quite busy with the upcoming launch of its Galaxy S20-series along with the Galaxy Z-Flip smartphone, the Android 10 update rollout is also going on. In fact, the stable OneUI 2.0 (Android 10) update has been pushed for quite a few devices in the recent past.

And there is one big news for the owners of the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S10 5G (SM-G977T) owners as the carrier has started pushing in the stable OneUI 2.0 (Android 10) update for the device.

Back in December 2019, another major US carrier Verizon pushed the Android 10 based OneUI 2.0 update for the Galaxy S10 5G along with the December security patchset.

However, this new update from T-Mobile brings in the latest January 2020 patchset along with messaging and other improvements for the phone as well.

Talking about the update, it arrives with the version number BSL5. You can check out the official changelog along with the screenshot of the official T-Moblie update tracker, below:

Moreover, with this latest update from T-Mobile for the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, the Android 10 update phase is now complete.

Notably, the update is being pushed via OTA in batches and will take some time in hitting all the units. However, you can always go ahead and check for the updates by heading to Home > Applications > Settings > About Device > Software updates.

Interestingly, we were able to grab the update via the Frija tool. This tool downloads the firmware file directly from the Samsung FUS (Firmware Update Server). You can read in-depth about the Frija tool by heading here.
