LinkedIn is an excellent resource for connecting with other professionals in your field, finding job opportunities, and building your personal brand.

With the help of this platform, one can utilize their profile to showcase their professional experience, education, and skills.

In addition to this, LinkedIn can also be used to share your opinions on industry trends. However, like any other platform, LinkedIn also has its fair share of bugs and issues.

For instance, we recently covered the issues where ‘Saved jobs’ kept disappearing for some users and LinkedIn notifications were irrelevant, slow, or missing. Now, a couple of new ones have popped up.

LinkedIn accounts suspended or restricted for no reason

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), numerous LinkedIn users are facing an issue where accounts are being suspended or restricted for no apparent reason.

Some claim that they have been unable to access their accounts for the past two months due to a temporary suspension. Even though appeals have been submitted to the company, they are still awaiting a response. 

Others allege that even after getting their account verified multiple times, they are unable to successfully login.

In addition to this, the profiles of some professionals are being randomly deleted as well. And to rub salt in the wounds, they cannot get in touch with the support team and raise a request as well.

One person alleges that after failing the CAPTCHA test on their new business laptop, their account was temporarily restricted.

And surprisingly, one hour after completing the document verification process, their account got permanently suspended.

@LinkedIn my account was compromised and I have not been able to access it even after verifying my identity several times. I have received no response from the support team. Can anyone help me? Very frustrating! #linkedinsupport #linkedIn.

Luckily, some were able to get their accounts back by nagging support about the issue, so you may want to try this too.

LinkedIn follower count glitch acknowledged

Some users (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) also complain to be facing an issue where the followers count on company pages keeps fluctuating, leading to a significant decrease in the total count.

An affected user says that the follower count on their business page has reduced to 11 from a total of 6,000.

Another complains that their company page’s follower count suddenly decreased by approximately 5,000.

Fortunately, the LinkedIn support team is aware of this problem and is currently working on fixing it. Although, no official ETA for the bug fix has been provided.
