Realme Q2 5G Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) stable update begins rolling out

With an aim to democratize 5G across the globe, smartphone brands are making every effort to launch more devices with 5G.

Even though Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets became the first ones to support 5G bands, MediaTek isn’t far away in the race. In fact, MediaTek seems to be the more cost-efficient option for mid-rangers.

It attracted the interests of Realme and the company became the first in the market to launch devices with the MediaTek Dimensity chipsets.

Realme Q2 5G, launched last year, is one such device that is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset along with Android 10-based Realme UI on top and Android 11 on cards.

The device has since then bagged a Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) early access and an open beta update, keeping the rollout limited to a few users.

But now it appears that the company is all prepared to roll it out to the masses.

In an announcement post, Realme has shared the news of the commencement of a stable Android 11 update for the Realme Q2 5G in China.

Bearing version A.04, the Android 11 update will roll out to every last one of the Realme Q2 5G units within a month. And here’s all you get with the stable update.

With this, Realme is on a streak and if it maintains the same speed, devices sold in India shouldn’t take long to receive the stable Android 11 update.
