Realme has got to be the youngest Android phone maker we have today. In a bid to make a name for itself, the company is shaping up to be one of the most consumer-oriented OEMs around.
The brand listens to its users and implements features that are beneficial to them. On top of this, the company has been known to push out timely security updates and bug fixes.
All in all, Realme is doing everything we expect from all phone-makers.
In the recent past, we’ve seen Realme roll out features that have been highly requested by users. Some of these include the Solar System-inspired charging animation and support for VoWiFi.
Today, thanks to a post by a member of Realme’s R&D Team, we get a glimpse of what the company is cooking for Realme devices in the camera department.
According to the post, a number of camera improvements should be coming to a number of Realme devices.
These features were debuted with the Realme 7 and 7 Pro devices but are set to trickle down to other devices.
Another thing I know you guys are very concerned is that will these new features we launched on realme 7 and realme 7 Pro be updated to old devices?
The answer is “yes”
We will update “Starry Mode”, “Night filters”, ”Pro Nightscape ”, “AI Color Portrait”, etc. to old devices.
We will assess the hardware and make the update ASAP. I will inform you guys as soon as we confirm the timeline for this big update.
Some of these camera features that are set to get ported to older Realme devices include:
-Starry Mode
-Night filters
-Pro Nightscape
-AI Color Portrait
Of course, not all Realme devices will get these features as some of the features are heavily dependent on the device’s hardware. But since the lower-end Realme C11 and C12 are set to get this feature, most devices should be eligible.
Still, Realme says that it will assess the devices’ hardware before rolling out these features. Considering the fact that most Realme devices are fairly capable, it is safe to assume that most of them will get these features in due time.
