New feature alert: Realme UI will bring solar system inspired Charging animantion to Realme devices via update

There is one thing that other OEMs need to learn from Chinese smartphone manufacturers, which is taking regular feedbacks that helps in creating a loyal userbase.

Take for example, OnePlus, Realme, and Xiaomi, all these are big players in the smartphone industry, and most of the credit goes to its loyal user base.

Realme has also been in constant touch with its users for bringing new features and incorporating them with the Realme UI. Notably, the company has ditched its parent Oppo’s ColorOS custom UI with Realme UI with the launch of Android 10.

One of the features that have been in demand is the charging animations that pops-up when you charge your phone. And if we go by the latest development, this new feature is finally going to be live for the Realme devices, via an update.

As per the official post, after carefully considering feedback and suggestions, Realme has decided to add new charging animations to the Realme devices, which will be enabled on the phone through an OTA update in the future.

Talking about the charging animations, it is inspired by the solar system and will be available in three different colors and patterns. Note that three colors are for three different charging speeds which vary with devices.

If we have gotten you confused, here is the clear explanation:

Devices charging at 10W to 18W will have a blue planet as the core of the constellation which represents the Earth.

10w-18w charging animation

Devices with charging speeds at 20W to 30W the animation changes to yellow which resembles the Jovian System with more satellites surrounding it.

20w-30w charging animation

The animation for charging at 50W to 65W resembles the spectacular energy and technological possibilities of the Solar System.

50w-65w charging animation

As mentioned in the post, Realme users should note that “the new charging animation will be made available to all Realme devices eligible to be upgraded to Realme UI via a future update – please note that the OTA bringing the new charging animation may not coincide with the Realme UI update, but come at a later stage. So keep an eye on the update changelog for your device.
