Realme is one of the OEMs that has upgraded most its smartphones with the Android 10 update. Realme 2 Pro received the Realme UI (Android 10) update in July which is available for manual flash here. Also, the OEM recently released the Realme 2 Pro Android 10 kernel sources.

Realme appears to be on top of its game with such updates and this also keeps users satisfied. The Realme 2 Pro Realme UI (Android 10) build introduced a lot of new changes like the Navigation Gestures 3.0, enhanced Smart Sidebar, optimized camera, and many more.

However, a camera issue appears to be spoiling the user experience after updating Realme 2 Pro with the Realme UI (Android 10) update. Users are facing the camera black screen issue which is rendenring the camera app unusable.

Also, the problem appears to be software related as the reports started coming only after the Realme UI (Android 10) update. Realme India Support is addressing users individually while also stating that the issue can occur under various circumstances.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. We would like to inform you that there are various circumstances due to which such an issue occurs. Kindly refer to your DM for better assistance.

This might mean that the camera black screen problem may be resolved by generic troubleshooting which involves clearing app cache and data. Nevertheless, this is simply based on our speculation as the OEM has not provided any details or an official resolution yet.

Hopefully, Realme addresses the Realme 2 Pro camera black screen issue at a larger scale soon as the camera app is something which is heavily used by every smartphone user.
