Released in January this year, Rainbow Six Extraction is the latest game to join the Rainbow Six series.

The co-op multiplayer game features operators from Rainbow Six Siege and requires players to work together to take down an alien species known as the Archeans.

While players have praised the game for its gunplay and mechanics, issues such as in-game shop not working and the endless coughing glitch have negatively affected the gameplay experience for many.

That being said, the game is also available on the Xbox Game Pass. But lately, many Xbox Game Pass subscribers are reporting (1,2,3) that Rainbow Six Extraction went missing from their library.

Many are confused and wondering as to why the game is not available anymore. Some said they tried unlinking and relinking their Ubisoft account but nothing seems to work right now.

It looks like Rainbow Six Extraction is missing for those who unsubscribed or lost their Xbox Game Pass subscription and resubscribed again.

I downloaded extraction while i had gamepass but my gamepass ran out and i had deleted it because i didn’t know when i’d have it again but now i have gamepass again the game is gone and i can’t find any way to redownload it without having to buy it. I’ve tried reconnecting the accounts and hoping that would work but no avail. Does anyone else have this issue and now how to solve it? PS. I usually don’t post on forums so i’m sorry if this isn’t what i was suppose to do

I payed for subscription on the 3rd it should start from then not when support are ready to help re-claim it. I have a general ticket because I cannot find any support section regarding Game Pass or Re-claim, it’s been 4 days now no response. On Game Pass it says “click here to play” even after re-subscribe there is notification every time for the 2 Ubisoft games, this link takes you to Ubisoft connect which Extraction is gray out so no you can’t play and making it like Game Pass/Microsoft give the wrong information.

As it turns out, Ubisoft is aware of the issue where Rainbow Six Extraction is missing from the Xbox Game Pass library for some.

It looks like the only way to play the game for those affected is to contact Ubisoft Support and share their Ubisoft email or username and the Xbox Gamertag.

Since this is really frustrating, some asked Ubisoft if they had any plans to make changes to the resubscription process. This is what Ubisoft Support Staff had to say on the matter.

We hope Ubisoft makes it easier for players to reclaim games in the near future so they don’t have to contact support everytime their Game Pass subscription is over or renewed.

Rest assured, we will be keeping tabs on the issue and update this space as and when required so make sure you stay tuned.
