[Updated] Pokemon Go new update 0.163.2 to fix game stuck at loading screen issue

Pokemon Go recently introduced an all-new Buddy Adventure feature. Under this new feature, your Buddy Pokemon will follow you on the map and will do several other things when the Buddy level increases. There are different Buddy levels in the game; you can learn more about it by heading here.

Well, to access this new feature, players are required to download the latest update from Google Play Store or Apple App store. The game is also forcing the new update for some users. Well, after downloading the update, players can enjoy the Buddy Adventure feature.

To access the new “Buddy Adventure” feature, players are required to go to the bottom left side of the screen and open the new buddy profile page. On Buddy’s profile page, players will find the Play button. Well, after clicking the play button, players can play & feed Buddy Pokemon.

However, for some users, the new update has brought a lot of worries. With the new update, the game is stuck on the loading screen for some users. Many players have been experiencing this issue for more than 24 hours.

Well, there is good news for players as Niantic will roll out a new Pokemon Go patch. Well, the upcoming update will resolve the issue of the game getting stuck at the loading screen. Have a look at the official statement which confirms the same.

Also, for some users, the game is getting stuck in AR+ mode or going black. Well, those users can try to update their AR or can turn off AR+ mode to resolve the issue. This workaround may not work for all the users, though. Players who have been able to access Pokemon Go Buddy Adventure are exploring the new feature along with their Buddy Pokemon.

Players can increase friendship level with their Buddy Pokemon by earning Affection. Speaking of Affection, it is measured in hearts. Players can earn more hearts by exploring with Buddy on the map, by battling with Buddy, by playing and feeding your buddy, and by taking snapshots of the buddy. Buddy’s mood will depend upon the amount of Affection you earn. When Buddy’s mood will be most happy & excited, players will unlock several Perks for themselves.

06:34 pm (IST): Some players are again reporting (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) the issue where the game is stuck at loading screen.

Fortunately, Niantic support has acknowledged the issue and said that they are currently investigating it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.

10:14 am (IST): Pokemon Go players are again facing the bug where the game gets stuck on the loading screen. The issue is present even after installing the latest game update.

Niantic team is aware of the issue and working on it, but there is no ETA for a fix yet.
