New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on September 28, 2021) follows:

The Division 2 is an online-only RPG game that is set in the near future. It is the sequel to the 2016 Tom Clancy’s The Division.

The story expands on the original game and explores a world that is affected by a deadly virus known as “Green Poison” spread across the world. The game was positively received by the majority of critics and players.

It is developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The game makes use of the Snowdrop engine and is available on both PC as well as consoles.

The-Division-2

The Division 2 is a commercial success and has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide. Thanks to Ubisoft constantly updating the game with new content, The Divison 2 has a healthy player base.

Having said that, the online-only nature of the game and the frequent updates have often resulted in players experiencing issues with the game.

An example of the same is the recent issue where players reported missing characters and the game loading screen getting stuck at 9% for many.

Unsurprisingly, it looks like players are facing another issue with the game. Many say that they are experiencing random crashes every 5-10 minutes when playing The Division 2.

The reports suggest that the issue surfaced after the latest update. Sometimes the game is simply not responding while other times the game freezes and sends players back to the desktop without any errors.

Players say they have tried verifying files, reinstalling and redownloading the game, even updating graphic drivers, but nothing seems to help right now.

Since the last update from Ubisoft the game has been crashing one time every time I login to the game. After that it goes away until you log off and come back in. Its annoying cause it disrupts my bounties and I have to start from the begging. I swear I want to punch someone when something like this happens. What’s going on?

every time they upload a new patch this happens, twice yesterday the first time I had to reboot the PC second time it booted me to the desktop, another a little while ago had to reboot, I wish they would test it out first before letting it out in public

As it turns out, Ubisoft still hasn’t acknowledged the issue. We hope Ubisoft fixes The Division 2 crashing issue as soon as possible.

When they come up with a patch or have to say something about the crashes, we will let update this space to reflect the same.
