New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on June 20, 2020) follows:

During the past few months, the Chinese phone maker Oppo has been seeding the Android 10-based ColorOS 7/7.1 update to its eligible devices. While a major chunk of Oppo phones has already been upgraded, the OEM, like always, has been actively communicating its plan for the leftover.

In line with that, last month the OEM specified they aim to push the ColorOS 7 beta/trial update to Oppo R15 Pro devices starting June 20, i.e. today.

And what they said, is happening already. The beta recruitment program has kick-started for the Oppo R15 Pro devices, at least for India, Thailand, and Malaysia. The information came as an official announcement post at the community conveying the R15 Pro users can now apply for the ColorOS 7 beta update version CPH1831EX_11.F.12.

This one being the first batch, the quota is limited to 2000 slots. So if you plan to be part of the beta testing program, hurry up before the slots get filled up.
