OnePlus 8T is a flagship-level device with some powerful hardware specs. However, users have been constantly reporting about the bugs and issues present on their OnePlus 8T.

While the OEM is trying to address these issues, it is unclear how seriously OnePlus takes such matters.

Users of OnePlus 8T have been facing a camera issue where images appear blurry/smokey when flash is enabled.

Also, users have been reporting about this issue since at least April 2021 which means that it was not addressed in the May update for the OnePlus 8T.

While the said issue does appear to be related to hardware, it might in fact be one with the software.

This is simply because a OnePlus Staff Member has acknowledged this issue on the OnePlus Community.

As per the Staff Member, the developer team is aware of the said camera-related issue on OnePlus 8T and is working on a fix.

So, affected users may not have to face the problem for long as the said fix might arrive in the near future.

However, this is still based on our speculation as no ETA for a fix has been provided in the acknowledgement.

It is still good to see that OnePlus is constantly discussing and acknowledging such issues but the quality of its software updates lately does raise a lot of questions.

Hopefully, the OEM fixes the said issue soon as it has been causing a lot of inconvenience to OnePlus 8T users.

That said, we will report back with more details on the matter as and when we get more info so stay tuned.
