In a new move to try to conquer the Japanese market, Google is collaborating with Kanta Mizutamari (of the ‘Mizutamari Bond’ YouTuber duo) to boast the video recording quality of the latest Pixel 8 Pro and all Pixel phones in general.

So far, we have seen that most of the Pixel 8 series ads have focused on promoting the AI-powered features that Google is so proud of, especially those related to cameras. However, a new ad from Google Japan in collaboration with Kanta Mizutamari takes a slightly different approach.

Mizutamari Bond is a popular YouTuber duo in Japan, so the video recording capabilities on their devices are quite important to them. With that in mind, Kanta Mizutamari and the Pixel 8 Pro star in the latest Google Japan ad where he praises the Pixel 8 Pro video quality.

According to Kanta, the Google Pixel 8 Pro is an ideal smartphone for content creators. The YouTuber praises aspects such as the quality of the device’s zoom, in addition to the photos that it can take with the wide-angle sensor.

He also says that he likes the true-to-life colors present in the videos recorded with the Pixel 8 Pro. Finally, he claims that he has been using Google Pixel devices for a long time to create content for the Mizutamari Bond YouTube channel, showing multiple generations of these phones in his hands.

It’s worth noting that the video and subtitles are in Japanese, but you can activate the YouTube ‘auto-translate’ option from the video settings if you don’t understand the language to know what’s happening.
