A lot has been talked about the iQOO smartphone which a sub-brand of the already popular Vivo brand. With the iQOO smartphones, Vivo will be entering the gaming smartphone market in India.

It has already been announced that iQOO will be launching two smartphones in India, one of which will be a 5G enabled phone with Snapdragon 865 processor, and will also come with a new battery technology which is expected to be the Super FlashCharge technology.

However, before everything got settled, iQOO 5G phone release in India fell prey to controversy before launch as the iQOO India Twitter handle that tweeted that 5G phone will be coming soon to India, came from a fake account.

Fortunately, iQOO intervened and confirmed that indeed the brand is coming up with two smartphones for India, one 4G, and one 5G model. The 5G model was confirmed to pack in Snapdragon 865 processor.

We have earlier reported that the iQOO smartphones will not be coming with the Funtouch OS that is the default skin on Vivo phones and instead will come with a new UI called Monster UI.

And this is now confirmed as per a recent development, an image of the iQOO smartphone with model number V1824A has been leaked which shows the device running on Android 10 with Monster UI on top.

Other details that can be extracted from the image above is that the smartphone is running on Snapdragon 855 chipset and houses 8 GB of RAM.

Earlier we have also reported that three iQOO smartphones were spotted in the Wi-Fi Alliance certification running Android 10. Keep in mind that iQOO smartphones will go live for sale from February 25 in India. We will keep you in the loop until we have more information in this regard.
