Hive Social is a relatively new social media app launched in 2019 that turned up when Twitter users went on the lookout for alternatives after Elon Musk’s acquisition.

It allows you to post images and text. However, unlike Twitter, you can publish content without any length limitations, and it also has an editing function. But that’s not the best part.

Users on Hive Social can customize their profile colors and even add songs to their profile. And ever since it emerged as an alternative to Twitter, the number of users on the platform has surged abruptly.

According to a report, the platform has gained nearly 750,000 users in just 4 days. However, those who made the switch have also reported some anomalies that are yet to be addressed.

It seems that Hive Social is yet to add support for Spotify on their platform. That means you won’t be able to add music to your Hive Social profile via Spotify for the time being.

While some users believe that the support for Spotify will arrive soon, there’s no ETA as to when it will be possible.

Alternatively, you can use Apple Music to add your favorite song to your profile. Of course, you’ll need an active subscription for that. Otherwise, wait for devs to add support for Spotify.

That said, we will update this story as and when we come across anything noteworthy.
