Harry Potter Wizards Unite GPS Sync issues trouble players

Harry Potter Wizards Unite game is approaching its second month, and the game’s player base is slowing increasing over time. However, the game did not receive a mega opening like Pokemon Go.

Time and again various bugs kept plaguing the Wizards Unite game, and Niantic kept providing fixes for the same. But over the last two days, Wizard Unite players have been encountering an issue with GPS sync. Complaints regarding this are proliferating across the official Wizards Unite Community.

A few users have also pointed out that their GPS works fine and traces also appear on the map, but their Avatar does not move.

Also, at the time of travelling, Avatar stands still for a minute or just randomly pops up somewhere in the player’s vicinity. Users have also suggested using the GPS Status app. According to them, the GPS Status app improves GPS accuracy for many applications, including Wizards Unite and Pokemon Go.

Looking over many complaints, we found that Samsung users are facing this problem to a larger extent as many Samsung device owners have pointed out this issue over the forum.

Some players and Samsung device owners believe that there is an issue with how HPWU interacts with Samsung phones.

No Harry Potter Wizards Unite official has commented over this matter yet. We are closely watching this issue, and whenever any fix arrives for it, we will update the column.

Meanwhile, Niantic has revealed the details for the upcoming Harry Potter Wizards Unite Fan Festival. Also, Dragons are making their entry into the game for the first time.

Harry Potter Wizards Unite Fan Festival is taking place at White River State Park in Indianapolis. The event will take place on August 31 and September 01.

Unique special assignments have been added to the Wizards Unite festival which will unlock Dragons for players. Four dragons will be made available during the Wizards Unite festival. The list of dragons that will feature during the Wizards Unite festival is listed below.

Players will encounter these dragons as oddities. Attendees will be able to encounter all four dragons during the event. After the event, all dragons will fly off to their respective regions. During the event, players will also find Dragon and Acromantula Eggs scattered around the park.
