FiveM is an incredibly useful mod for roleplaying fans to create and join servers and enjoy the rich world of GTA 5. However, fresh reports suggest that FiveM users might not be having the best time at the moment.

FiveM (Cfx.re) servers down

Many FiveM (Cfx.re) users are currently experiencing problems while trying to play GTA 5 RP as the servers are down or not working.

@FiveM Any update on why you guys are having issues and how long they will be resolved? No message nothing is kind of a **** move to everyone who uses you guys.

Affected users have taken to social media platforms like Twitter to express their frustration.

Do note that there has been a recent update in Rockstar Games’ modding policy which could have resulted in the servers going down for the time being.

Some are also suggesting that the servers might have gone down due to a potential DDOS attack. However, none of these claims can be verified at the moment.

Unfortunately, FiveM (Cfx.re) developers have not yet acknowledged the issue with servers going down or not working. We hope they soon find out the root cause behind the problem and fix it at the earliest.

As the developers have not yet acknowledged it, affected users might have to wait indefinitely for a resolution.

We’ll keep an eye on this matter and update this story to reflect noteworthy information.

Update 1 (November 22, 2022)

10:20 am (IST): Fresh reports suggest that the servers are now accessible again. Affected FiveM users can now log back into their RP servers and enjoy the game.

08:50 pm (IST): It looks like FiveM users can’t catch a break with the service today. Fresh reports (1, 2, 3) once again indicate that the servers are down and not working.

Update 2 (February 21, 2023)

08:56 am (IST): Proliferating reports on Downdetector (1, 2, 3, 4) suggest that FiveM is currently down or not working for a section of users and it’s stuck on ‘preparing to request authentication ticket’ error.

05:53 pm (IST): According to Downdetector, the recent issue with FiveM has now been fixed.

Update 3 (May 10, 2023)

12:41 pm (IST): According to fresh reports (1, 2), FiveM is currently down or not working for a section of users.

06:30 pm (IST): The recent outage with FiveM has now been resolved.

Update 4 (May 17, 2023)

08:42 am (IST): User reports and platform Downdetector indicate that FiveM is currently down or not working (1, 2).

03:00 pm (IST): FiveM latest outage has been resolved, so the service is now available again.

Update 5 (June 12, 2023)

08:17 am (IST): FiveM servers are currently down or not working according to multiple reports (1, 2).

01:00 pm (IST): FiveM platform is already working properly as the outage was fixed.

Update 6 (July 18, 2023)

03:18 pm (IST): FiveM users report a new outage on the platform (1, 2).

05:10 pm (IST): FiveM is now available again as the outage has been resolved.

Update 7 (August 6, 2023)

11:29 am (IST): FiveM platform is in the middle of a new outage, according to users report (1, 2, 3).

03:03 pm (IST): FiveM is available again as the server issues were resolved.

Update 8 (August 15, 2023)

10:53 am (IST): FiveM servers are experiencing multiple issues, being only partially accessible as confirmed by the official status page. The dev team is already working on resolving them.

Some users think that the recent purchase of FiveM by Rockstar Games has something to do with the situation.

Update 9 (August 16, 2023)

12:04 pm (IST): The official FiveM status page indicates that the servers are already 100% operational.
