FIFA Mobile POTM & TOTY challenge modes not working or unable to view progress? Here's the offical word

Developed by EA Sports in partnership with EA Canada and published by EA Sports, FIFA Mobile is one of the few football simulation games available on mobile devices.

Released in 2016, the developers recently released FIFA Mobile 22 in January this year. But soon after its release, players complained about various bugs such as the game crashing in Challenge Mode and Head to Head matches getting disconnected.

Now, FIFA Mobile players are reporting (1,2,3,4,5) that TOTY and POTM challenge modes are not working or they are unable to view progress. In case you did not know, POTM stands for Player of the Month and TOTY means Team of the Year.

POTM is a PvE event that offers POTM points and tokens while TOTY offers points that can be exchanged for various rewards such as players.

Some say they were not able to play even one TOTY and POTM match. Players say they are unable to collect coins and points because of the problem.

Below are reports from FIFA Mobile players complaining about TOTY and POTM challenge modes not working.

@EAFIFAMOBILE @eahelp what about the challenge mode, most of our TOTY progress was dependent on that ..also the POTM challenge mode? And what about the POTM Pack issue, your false advertising cost us our FPs/gems.

After the patch, you have closed the POTM and TOTY challenge mode, with no possibility to play and get the points/coins. We want a solution or compensation NOW! This is totally unfair. There are always problems with the challenge mode, it sucks.

Thankfully, FIFA Mobile has commented on the issue and said that they have disabled TOTY and POTM challenge modes to investigate some issues. However, they did not clarify or share any ETA on when the game modes will come back.

We’re still investigating issues with Challenge Mode related to TOTY and POTM. They will both remain disabled until further notice. Stay tuned in this thread for updates as we work through this.

We hope FIFA Mobile developers soon find the root cause of the issues and enable the POTM and TOTY game modes as soon as they can and compensate those who are missing out on points or coins accordingly.
