FIFA 22 players unable to preview 'Preview Packs' before purchasing, issue acknowledged

Developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania, FIFA 22 is the newest game in the football simulation series. The title also supports Hypermotion technology on the latest generation of consoles.

However, reviewers and players alike have criticized FIFA 22 with some calling out the developers for releasing an unfinished game.

Unsurprisingly, players have reported several bugs such as the one where players couldn’t access the Season Progress tab or were unable to find matches in the Ligue 1 Liaisons mode.

And now, FIFA 22 players are saying (1,2,3) they are unable to preview the ‘Preview Packs’ before making a purchase. Many say they are getting charged whenever they tried to preview the contents of the packs.

This seems to be angering a lot of players since they are not seeing the contents of the pack they want to purchase. Also, it looks like the problem surfaced after a recent update to the companion app.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to shop, then go to gold packs, then scroll down. I only tried this in the web so maybe it’s only bugged in the web.
What happens when the bug occurs? It doesn’t show the “Preview Pack” option but instead shows “buy for 7500 coins”.
What should be happening instead? It should show “Preview pack” It doesn’t show the preview packs option on the web of fut.

I have the same bug as you, might be because our preview timers are not up? I know for sure I did my preview pack less than 24 hours ago. I imagine if I buy it now I’d get what was previewed to me when I last previewed it.

Thankfully, EA Help has acknowledged the issue with FIFA 22 Preview Packs and said they are currently investigating the problem. However, they did not share any timeframe on when it will be patched.

We hope EA compensates FIFA 22 players who were charged for previewing the Preview packs in the coming days and fix the bug as soon as possible.
