It seems that Twitter users who aren’t a fan of the new X logo are taking the help of browsers extensions to revert to the iconic old blue bird (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8).

You can install the extension known as “Control Panel For Twitter” to revert the X rebrand

Some of the extensions that have come to light are: ‘Control Panel for Twitter’, ‘Doge Burner’, ‘twitter_icon_x_to_bird’, ‘cygaar’, and more (1,2). Users are even asking the developers to bring the iconic blue bird logo back (1,2,3,4).

Moreover, a Chnage.org petition has also surfaced to ‘Bring Back Twitter Blue Bird Logo’. If you’re also against the new logo, you can show your criticism by signing this petition.

Affected users also claim that the new X logo lacks uniqueness as it looks like any other tab now. Moreover, they feel that the bird icon resonated more with their tweeting experience.

I prefer the Blue Birdy, and “tweeting” relates to birds, but doesn’t relate to “βœ–οΈ”, otherwise how does it work Retweet this becomes “Re-X- this, or hey I X’ed you today, please reply? πŸ€”

Reports indicate that users want Elon Musk to strongly reconsider this change of Twitter logo (1,2,3,4). But it’s possible that the pleas land on deaf ears as the official profile picture of Twitter has already been changed to X.

‘Like’ animation to also change to ‘𝕏’

Apart from this, reports are also making rounds on the platform that the ‘Like’ animation has also changed from the traditional heart icon to ‘𝕏’.

However, it’s important to note that this is just a rumor thus clarifying that it’s a fake post.
