A glitch is currently affecting Facebook group pages, leaving many users unable to view posts or scroll through feeds. The issue emerged suddenly today, sparking frustration.
There are several reports on Reddit across the r/facebook community that pages load partially. While headers and tabs appear normal, the main post feed stays blank. It also fails to scroll and randomly freezes after one post. There’s either a stuck loading bar or odd bouncing behavior.
While individual posts appear unaffected for now, navigating directly into groups completely fails. The issue spans Android, iOS, and the web version, and even Meta-verified users are hit.
Meta Support has confirmed to some affected users that this is a technical issue on their end, so it’s not a user error. The problem has already been escalated internally, and we’ll need to wait until Meta fixes it on the server side.
Downdetector shows a noticeable spike in outage reports, though the overall volume remains relatively low.
Users spent several hours troubleshooting, resetting passwords, and performing all standard fixes, such as clearing the cache, reinstalling the app, logging out/logging in, etc., have reportedly failed for most. You can try viewing via notifications or accessing admin tools for now, but there’s no clear-cut workaround yet.
Additionally, you can try reporting the bug directly. On mobile, go to the group that’s currently broken, shake your device, attach the screenshot, and then report the issue. These bugs usually resolve within a few hours or a few days at most, since it’s a server-side error.
Historically, Meta does not always issue official statements for minor server-side bugs.
It seems like a fairly buggy week for Facebook, since we recently covered an issue where the entire app kept crashing.
