Original story (published on May 19, 2023) follows:
Over the years, Apple has released new services that make its ecosystem of products more attractive. One of those products is Apple TV for on-demand streaming.
However, currently several Apple TV users are reporting that the service is down or not working for them.
Apple TV down or not working
For a few minutes now, the entire Apple TV catalog has been inaccessible to many Apple TV users. Apparently, it’s all due to a server outage.

Oh no! Family movie and Apple TV @appletv just stopped working. “There is a problem loading this content.” I’m glad to see we’re not alone but so annoying! #AppleTV

So, many users are completely unable to enjoy the content they pay for at the time of writing this article. Sadly, there is still no official acknowledgment of the issue from the Apple TV team.
While it seems that outages in Apple services have become a common situation lately, we hope that the issue doesn’t take too long to receive a fix so that people can access the service again without problems.
For instance, a few weeks ago we covered outages in services like Apple Maps and Apple Weather. In addition, currently the Apple Music service is also experiencing issues.
We will be monitoring the situation to update this story as events unfold in the future.
Update 1 (May 19, 2023)
03:00 pm (IST): Since the reports related to the outage stopped coming out a few hours ago, it seems that Apple TV is working properly again.
Update 2 (September 15, 2023)
07:58 am (IST): Apple TV users report a new outage in the streaming service (1, 2, 3).
12:00 pm (IST): Apple TV platform operation has already returned to normal.
