From the developers of Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars is yet another popular multiplayer mobile game that offers highly competitive online gameplay.

Brawl Stars features an online mode called Power League, where players compete to climb ranks and reach the top.

Recently, the users have shared that the rewards for climbing ranks aren’t nearly enough to keep them motivated.

To me the rewards that are given don’t really make me wanna play it, the spray and the profile pic are ok, but the recently reduced amount of bling and the skin are the problem, specially the skin. (Source)

My honest opinion on PL is that it is a competitive feature with rewards or expectations that casuals should play it. Therefore it leaves a terrible experience for both Casuals and Competitive. A “working report” might be great but it will definitely not be practical. (Source)

Some players even suggested that Supercell should buff the Brawl Pass and the end of the PL session rewards including the blings and Starr Drops.

Ranking up on Brawl Stars Power League provides the players with 125 bling each time they promote. Blings are an in-game currency that was introduced in the April 2023 update.

Why 125 blings from Brawl Stars Power League is not enough?

Using blings, players can buy cosmetic items such as pins, sprays, profile icons, and more.

However, 125 blings aren’t nearly enough to buy anything at the cosmetic shop. Players will need at least 750 to 1000 blings. If they want to afford a Brawler class or Exclusive class item in the shop.

Other than blings, cosmetics can also be bought directly by using gems. Gems are another form of currency in the game. They can only be earned by completing achievements or purchasing with real-world money.

Blings had caused some chaos even in the past when a certain bug restrained the players from earning their end of PL blings and other rewards.

Currently the devs at Supercell are “collecting feedback” from players to improve the current PL mode. They have teased that they may make some big changes.

They also stated that it may take some time for them to clear out the issue, so the upcoming updates won’t offer anything new to the existing PL mode.

We’ll keep track of the situation and post an update if and when there are any further developments on the matter.
