[Updated] Brawl Stars players not getting PL reset rewards (Bling & others), issue acknowledged

Brawl Stars, the successful and frantic multiplayer battle arena from the creators of Clash of Clash, is starting a new Season.

As in other similar games, each new season implies a reset where players receive rewards according to their achievements from the previous season.

However, currently, several Brawl Stars players are not getting their corresponding Bling or other PL reset rewards.

Social platforms like Twitter and Reddit are flooding with reports of players frustrated that they haven’t earned all of their respective PL reset rewards.

What seems to worry the Brawl Stars players the most is not having obtained Bling (an in-game currency). Bling is very valuable as it allows them to buy skins and items without spending gems.

Please make sure the PL bling delivery works like intended when you’ll fix this bug, even if it takes a little longer. Nobody wants a Trophy Road apocalypse 2.0 🫠

I’m confused. Last season in the Power League, I reached Diamond 3, received my Power Points, and they were converted to bling after a few hours. However, this season, I noticed that rewards from Bronze to Gold have already been claimed. Is this a bug?

If the amount of Bling you have is not enough to buy the items you want, you can still use it to reduce the price. Therefore, it is a quite useful currency.

So, it is understandable that players are disappointed that they did not receive the Bling after the reset.

Fortunately, the issue is not a change where players will no longer receive Bling after each reset. It’s actually a bug, which has already been acknowledged by a member of the dev team:

PS: We’re aware that some PL reset rewards haven’t been delivered but are marked as claimed. Delivery might just be delayed for now but we’ll keep an eye on it! 👊

However, there is still no ETA for all players to receive their corresponding Bling and other missing rewards. For now, they just have to be patient and wait.

We will update this story as events unfold in the future.

11:09 am (IST): A team member recently announces that they have found the root cause of the bug. Those affected can expect a fix with maintenance later this week when people will also start receiving their rewards.

Just as a follow-up: we think we’ve identified the issue. We’ll resolve this with a maintenance later this week and people (including myself) will receive the reward at that point.
