Forza Horizon 5 'vinyl & photo search' not working for some players, issue under investigation

Forza Horizon 5, a racing video game developed by Playground Games, has taken the gaming world by storm with its stunning graphics, immersive open-world environment and other customization options.

It also allows players to import custom vinyl designs and images into the game. This functionality enables gamers to personalize their cars, creating unique and visually striking designs.

But there are times when certain features stop working either partially or fully, thus troubling players (1,2,3).

Search function seems broken I’m trying to search for some vinyls for my car, but no matter what key words I use it always says that there’s no results for my search…is there any issue with Forza servers?

The ‘Vinyl & Photo Search’ feature searches the internet for matching patterns and photos using a search algorithm. However, the search function is not working and gives an ‘There is no result for your search’ error.

This issue severely limits players’ ability to find the specific vinyl or image they desire, hindering their creativity and customization potential.

Those affected have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but to no avail. Even restarting the game doesn’t fix the issue.

@ForzaHorizon Hello, it’s impossible for me to find vinyl from other creators… I’ve tried uninstalling the game, restarting… But it’s impossible to apply vinyls. I would like to know why?

The glitch is incredibly frustrating for players as the broken search feature leaves them unable to access a wide range of designs, forcing them to rely on limited in-game options.

Issue under investigation

Luckily, the issue has been acknowledged by the support team and they are currently investigating the problem.

There is no workaround at the moment so those affected can wait patiently for the team to come up with a resolution.
