Microsoft Rewards program enables users to accumulate points by utilizing Microsoft services and to exchange those points for a range of benefits.
That said, users receive 100 Microsoft Rewards Points for completing the ‘Rewards Weekly Set’ task. And if you continue to do it each week, Microsoft even grants an amount of extra Points.
However, the program has also been quite buggy at times.
For instance, the Microsoft Rewards app for Xbox once stopped counting achievements for some. A ‘Service Unavailable. Please try again’ error had also come to light previously.
Microsoft Rewards Weekly Set streak resetting
Some users have now taken to Reddit to complain that the Microsoft Rewards Weekly Set streak has been resetting to zero for them (1,2,3).

Has anybody else’s weekly streak reset? I did everything like usual last week and it’s been reset today on Xbox. Wondering whether this is a screw up by rewards?

i did last weeks streak and mine has just completely vanished and gone back to zero i would of been 3 weeks from that 2500 bonus i really hope mine is fixed

Numerous complaints have surfaced, with some users claiming to have lost weeks’ worth of streaks. While it has left others speculating on the reinstatement of their streak progress.
Surprisingly, the issue isn’t exactly new and has been troubling users for almost two months now.

At the time, the team was quick enough to respond to the matter and said that they would be looking into it.

While this does confirm Microsoft is still working to address this matter, it’s quite frustrating to those affected that it’s taking this long.
