Disney Dreamlight Valley is one of the perfect games if you’re looking forward to interacting with your favorite childhood Disney or Pixar characters. It allows players to embark on a variety of quests and adventures.

The game has players tend to a magical valley populated by characters who previously underwent a curse that caused them to lose memories of their lives in the valley.

However, some quests also exhibit various bugs and issues every now and then. For instance, we recently covered a story where gamers could not get their progress past Stitch’s hobby quest.

Dreamlight Valley ‘A deal with Ursula’ quest bug

Several Disney Dreamlight Valley players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) are now reporting a glitch with Ursula’s quest, which prevents them from further progressing in the game.

In this quest, one has to wander in different areas and obtain crystals including one Dark Crystal which would help free Prince Eric. Players need to bring a total of 4 crystals to the Forgotten Lands and place them on a set of pedestals.

After this, they have to search for a final magic crystal nearby, which they have to give back to Ursula.

Players complained that even though they tried placing the crystals on pedestals, the quest progress did not change, and displayed that the gamers had no crystals with them.

Are there plans to address the Ursula quest bug with 0/4 crystals anytime soon? I’m locked from getting prince Eric and there’s been a lot of Reddit posts with people having the same issue.

@DisneyDLV HELP PLEASE: I got ahead of myself and added the remaining crystals to the pedestals WITHOUT going to Ursula 1st… so it’s saying collected 0/4. I can’t remove them once it’s placed.

Due to this issue, the gamers were unable to complete the quest and proceed further in the game.

Reportedly, the bug in Ursula’s quest has been there for quite some time. Even though developers have released multiple updates in the past, none of them seems to have fixed the issue.

Official acknowledgment

Fortunately, Disney recently released an official statement on its official Twitter handle, acknowledging the ‘A deal with Ursula’ quest bug. The developers are currently investigating the issue and working on a fix for it.

Although, it must be noted that an official ETA has not been given yet.

Potential workaround

We did come across a potential workaround that may help solve the problem for some players on the Windows operating system. It is suggested that a gamer should try closing and then opening the game again.

After doing so, the game’s story would continue like it normally should.

That being said, we will keep an eye on the Dreamlight Valley ‘A deal with Ursula’ quest bug and update this story as new information becomes available.
