COD: Warzone 2 has been a fantastic experience for all fans of the battle royale genre. The new map and game mechanics have been a welcome addition to an already successful game title.

However, players have faced various bugs and issues with the game like broken or overpowered ‘bomb drone’, inaudible footsteps and overpowered ‘DMZ’ AI, which has been quite disappointing.

Warzone 2.0 unable to loot items

Now, some COD: Warzone 2.0 players are experiencing an annoying issue with the game’s looting mechanics (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9).

When you kill an opponent, their loot falls to the ground (including their bag, gun, and ammo). However, there are instances when the items on the floor (particularly firearms and ammo) become extremely difficult to pick up.

Warzone 2.0 gamers are reporting that items are occasionally glitched out of the map or stacked on top of one another and they are unable to loot these items.

The only way to get past this glitch is to constantly change your position and angle in order to pick up the item, which wastes a lot of time.

⁦ @InfinityWard fix needed to easily pick ammo up. Should’ve got it by just running over it instead I have to find a perfect angle and it leaves people expose for to long

Warzone 2.0 is slowly becoming stale for me. Besides the constant PC crashes, 2v2 gulag with handpistols and 24 rounds of ammo suck balls, 0 audio because way too many scorestreaks in the air, loot glitching when trying to pick up.. but please fix the pc crashes

Warzone 2 wall glitch

Another major game-breaking bug that some COD: Warzone 2 gamers have reported is the wall glitch (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8).

Apparently, it is currently possible to employ a mechanism in the game to pass through walls, which applies to both the bullets and the characters themselves.

The problem appears to have started with the DMZ AI bots that even go through walls to reach the player. This issue was then exploited by cheaters, who are now employing it in online matches.

Something from dmz but nonetheless still a bug is when you do a recover radioactive material contract and it spawns in a unavailable area or inside of an object and this goes to loot as well because it will phase into the wall making it unable to be picked up and the Ai in Dmz will phase through walls and into the ground

Unfortunately, we haven’t come across any potential workarounds or official acknowledgments for these issues.

But we’ll keep track of the situation and will post an update if and when there are any further developments regarding the matter.

NOTE: You can also check out the COD saga tracker for updates on other bugs and issues.
