[Updated] Disney Dreamlight Valley Moana 'The Remembering' quest bugged or not progressing, issue acknowledged

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a unique life-simulation game that features various Disney and Pixar characters and allows players to befriend them.

Even though the game has received a positive response, it has been witnessing a number of issues lately.

For instance, we recently highlighted various progression-related issues with quests like ‘A Friendly Exchange‘ and ‘With Great Power’.

‘The Remembering’ quest progression issue

Lately, many Disney Dreamlight Valley players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) have been reporting an issue where ‘The remembering’ quest is bugged or not progressing.

I was doing the quest where you’re getting Moanas memories and Maui was behind scrooges desk and he gave a memory and now it’s stuck and I can’t get it/ anyone have this and have a fix??

My Moana memory orb is stuck under Scrooge desk and I can’t get at it. And now she’s been following me every where. Help!!

Moana’s The Remembering quest you have to go around and collect Moana memories. One of them has spawn inside scrooge bank inside the table and I can’t get to it.

The Remembering quest requires players to pick up certain essential items in order to complete it. In this particular case, players are expected to acquire Moana’s memory orb.

However, the memory orb is stuck under Scrooge’s counter/desk which makes it impossible for players to pick it up.

The issue is quite frustrating for players as they are unable to advance in the game. Sadly, restarting the game doesn’t help solve the progression issue either.

Official acknowledgment

Fortunately, the developers have acknowledged the issue and said that the team is working on a fix.

It has been listed in Gameloft’s ‘Known Issues’ list as well.

We are aware of an issue that causes Memory Pieces to get stuck in various game objects, such as walls, furniture, doors, etc. We are working on fixing it.

02:20 pm (IST): Disney Dreamlight Valley developers have fixed the issue where Moana’s memory orb is stuck under Scrooge’s counter for some players.
