FIFA 22 FUT Champs Play-Offs not working issue under investigation, but no ETA for fix
FIFA is the most popular football simulation video game franchise by EA Sports. And FIFA 22 is the latest addition to the series that was launched back in October 2021.
It is said that the 30 years partnership between EA and FIFA is set to end on July 12, 2023, and after that, the game will be retitled to EA Sports FC.
Ever since the release of the latest FIFA 22 last year, players have been reporting different kinds of issues with the video game. Not long ago, some FIFA 22 FUT players reported that they are unable to claim Rival and Season rewards.
FIFA 22 FUT Champs Play-Offs not working
And now, many players are facing yet another issue with the game where they are unable to participate in FIFA 22 FUT Play-Offs even though they have the required points. Here are some reports from those affected (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).
I have all the qualification points, even played games further in case it was a visual glitch, but I have all the 1250 points and at the end of the game it even says qualified but when I enter the Champs menu it doesn’t allow me to even qualify despite having all 8 entries left. (Source)
i already have enough points and qualified last week but it still says that i have to gain points by completing games in rivals and i can’t even play play offs or futchamps (Source)
The issue is preventing gamers to enter FUT Play-Offs as it keeps sending them back to play Rivals. It says that players have to gain more points by competing in Rivals to qualify for playoffs even though they already have enough points.
This is frustrating since Play-Offs are one of the important aspects of the game. And gamers have to clear them to reach the finals.
Fortunately, EA support has acknowledged the issue with FIFA 22 FUT Champs Play-Offs not working and confirmed that the team is currently investigating it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.
Also, we haven’t come across any workarounds that might help you temporarily resolve this issue. So, you’ll have to wait until devs release a definitive fix.
And when they do, we will update this story to reflect the latest development.
