[Updated] FIFA 22 FUT Champions Rival Rewards claiming bug on web/companion app officially acknowledged by EA
New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on December 24, 2021) follows:
For some years now, Ultimate Team has been a recurring game mode in the FIFA saga due to its success, and the same is repeated in the latest installment of the saga: FIFA 22.
Ultimate Team mode is based on the creation of teams through a card purchase system. The cards can include both players and power-ups for their abilities.
FIFA 22 FUT Rival and Season rewards missing if claimed through web or companion app
According to multiple reports, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team players are unable to obtain their Rival and Season rewards. Apparently, this issue occurs when they open packs from the FUT Companion app or web.
Missing Pack from the store
I saved a bunch of packs including 4 Jumbo rare players packs for the new promo, opened most of them with 2 jumbo player packs left I opened one and after getting ruben dias i skipped animation and received an error message was taken back to main fut menu entered the store and was told to assign items which i did and my pack is gone. I have video proof of the whole thing.
However, when players try to open packs from the console, the reports indicate that there is no problem. Also, those who tried to open packages from the web or companion app must log in on console to receive their items.
Omg so I logged on to console now and got Salah in a pack, then prime kaka from a pack. Then Varane. I was div 1. So now its season3 they put me in div 3 based on my results in season 2. I got this game during Black Friday.
